2020 Spring Family Carnival & Silent Auction
Saturday, February 29th  11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is open to the community and we invite all families in the greater Longview area to come join us!

Our committee is hard at work planning our biggest fundraiser of the year and we think it's going to be the best one yet!

We're bringing in new family activities, food, and silent auction items you won't want to miss!!

Spring Family Carnival

Children 2 years old and up will need to purchase a wristband to enter the carnival. ALL children under the age of 2 and ALL adults are FREE to enter!!
  • Pre-sale wristbands are $12 each and will be sold in advance through Friday, February 21, 2020. Order forms will be sent home to all current SFLC families or you may complete a wristband order form at the SFLC office. All checks must be made out to SFLC Parents' Group.
  • Wristbands sold at the door are $15 each. We will accept cash, check, and most major credit cards at the event.

New Exciting Family Activities!!

All of these activities will take place indoors and are included with the purchase of a carnival wristband (or free for children under 2 years old).
Faces Alive Face Painting will be bringing their professional and award winning face painting skills!!
will be setting up their clean, safe, fun baby and toddler entertainment zone! Perfect play center for kiddos 2 and under.

This will include foam mats to cover the floor, a tumble gym with two slides, two bounce animals, a toddler bounce house, car roller coaster, and rainbow tunnel.

Additional Carnival Activities:

There will be two large bounce houses setup in the gym for the bigger preschoolers and their older siblings. Every child will get a balloon animal created by Pastor Nathan. Don't forget to snap a funny family photo at our photo booth. We also will have multiple carnival games throughout the gym for the kids to win candy and prizes.

Outdoor Mobile Vendors are Coming this Year!!

Come ready to eat and play outside as well this year! We will have three food trucks and The Brick Truck in our parking lot. These are an additional cost and payable directly to the vendor.

This gourmet grilled cheese food truck will have yummy lunch items to choose from.
Their mobile bakery truck will be creating custom       Dr. Seuss themed gourmet iced cookies just for our event!

Coffee & T's Mobile Truck

Will be bring their handcrafted caffeinated beverages as well as ice cream floats and hot chocolate for the kiddos!

The Brick Truck

This unique mobile party truck is loaded with 30,000 LEGO bricks and minifigures. 

Kids at the carnival will be able to build their own LEGO minifigure to take home for $5.95.

The Brick Truck will be donating $1 back to SFLC for each minifigure purchase!

Volunteer Needs: We will need volunteer help to set-up Friday, February 28th from 9 a.m.- Noon (childcare provided with RSVP) and to work during the event on Saturday, February 29th from 11am-3pm. Online Silent Auction

Our silent auction will be setup in a digital bidding system, but don't worry you can still come and see all the auction items displayed at the Carnival.

All items will be listed on our auction website and will go live SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd at 8:00 A.M. so you can preview the items and start bidding! There’s even a buy it now option so you can win items before the day of the event. The auction will close at 2 p.m. the day of the Carnival.

We welcome you to share our auction page with family and friends that either can’t attend or don’t live in the area. This auction is open to the public and you do not need to be present at the auction to win (see further details below).

Auction Event at the Carnival - What to Know:

  • Bring your phone to the carnival! We will also have a computer at the event and tech support to help you place bids if needed.
  • At the carnival, bids can either be placed online or (even easier) by texting the fundraiser phone number with the three letter item code and bid amount (example AAA$60).
  • You will be notified via text if you’ve been outbid or have won, so monitor your texts during the event. It will prompt you with what bid increase you must make to keep bidding on the item.
  • All auction items will be displayed during the carnival, from 11 a.m. until the auction closes at 2 p.m.
  • There WON’T be physical bid sheets at the auction to write bids on.
  • When you win, you can still pay at the event with cash, check, or card; or you can follow the link sent to your phone via text and pay online.
  • We encourage all items to be picked up at the end of the auction at 2:30 p.m. but you do not need to be present at the auction to win!
  • Uncollected items MUST be paid for online at the close of the auction and picked up on Monday, March 2nd between 9 a.m. - 6p.m. at SFLC.

Big Ticket Auction Items Spotlight!

Each one is a 2 Man, 3 day, 2 night wild hog hunt package, valued at $1600 each! Includes all meals, drinks, & lodging in the bunk house!

Pine Cove has donated 1 spot for a first-time camper at their Towers overnight camp in Tyler, TX for a choice of week 1-6 in 2020!
The Pine Cove Towers is a match made in Heaven for elementary campers entering 2nd – 5th grade. The Towers is known for a lasting tradition of awesome counselors, exciting activities, and opportunities to grow in Christ. It doesn’t get much gooder, cleaner or funner than this! Valued at $1299 

Sky Ranch has donated a 1 week Overnight Camp for Summer 2020! Grades 1-9th grade, in Van, Texas.

Summer Camp features seven days of exciting activities infused with character-building strategies, counselors that are incredible Godly role models, and an intentional plan – the Sky Ranch Life Map – that takes kids from being consumers of God’s word to participants in God’s plan.
